In 1847, Louis-François CARTIER took over his master's jewellery workshop in Paris and thus began the story of Maison CARTIER... This luxurious metal nameplate is designed to draw attention to the brand and attract interest. It is made from 1mm thick brass plate, polished on both sides. The text and decoration are screen printed in a deep black colour. The entire piece is varnished on both sides to enhance its effect and to protect it from impurities and oxidation over time.
